Texas currently has the #3 ranked recruiting class. I hope that the Horns can keep the game close and respectable. We've still got a ways to go to build the roster with quality starters and depth.

I think that Alabama is going to mudhole a&m on 10/8. Jimbo shouldn't have tugged on Superman's cape. Superman is going to do his talking on the field to shut Jimbo up and avenge the fluke win by aggy last year.

With a win vs Bama, Texas will definitely have a big boost on their program. If Bama dominantly beats aggy, aggy will begin a decline on their journey. Vs Bama, atm has more future at stake, than Texas does.

I don't believe in karma but I would like to see Texas knock out Bryce Young. I'd even be good with a solid targeting hit to take him out. It's the least we could do after the 2009 NT game and the cheap shot on Colt.

Put that kind of thing on PBS, where the English nerds who care to watch her funeral can get their fill. There is no need to have her redundant funeral coverage on every damn network.

This game is a huge game for Texas. Getting blown out here is not good. A good showing can create some hope. You can't have a 5-7 season with a loss to Kansas and then get wiped by Bama to start this one. If Texas plays well and especially if Ewers can play really well can go a long way to not only this recruiting classes but for the next several years.

I don’t think it will have that big of an impact if we get blown out. We have multiple freshmen in the starting roster. We don’t have the depth that Bama has yet. Normal fans and recruits realize that outside of social media.

Of course a big deal is going to be made of her funeral, and it should be. Just hope that it's not on every network in America and it doesn't interrupt football games being shown.

@LonghornMM was responding to a post I made just funnin’ around insinuating that Fox may have been dropping the Bama/Texas game in favor of covering the Queen’s funeral which as we now know isn’t happening for several days.

However, if the football game and her funeral did fall on the same day it wouldn’t surprise me if the networks dropped everything to cover it.
