Night game away … unlike the 11:00 am or 3:00 pm starts. This one scares me. UA is accustomed to seeing AL, FL, etc. so won’t be scared of the Horns. But, difference in talent level prevails in the end …

I remember in 1969....Texas scored on the first 4 possessions and the 2nd string would come in and keep it up...The third string always played the last half of the 4th quarter.
Everyone stayed fresh(except the opps defense) and injury exposier was limited....plus....EVERYBODY had real game experience......That is what I am looking forward to....

I think you are referring to 1970. In 1969 the Horns fell behind early and didn't go ahead until late in the game. Danny Lester(Amarillo Tascosa) my ala, intercepted a pass from Montgomery to seal the game!
PK will confuse the AU qb with his defensive schemes. PK will make reads very difficult. We will sneak an extra defender in the box for the run. Make the AU qb make the correct reads.

The Hog QB, KJ Jefferson likes to run the ball. Last week against Rice he was 9/89 yards and 2 TD's, with a long rush of 38 yards. Passing, he was 12/21 for 128 1 TD and 1 INT. He's a big QB at 6' 3" 245 lbs. He's not fun to tackle.
He consistently had 4 to 5 guys drafted every year at Washington. Should be able build a good core off of what was already here plus recruiting this year.
I didn’t mean that game....I meant every game....Mostly in 1970, but except for Arky and UCLA it was pretty much that way every game.
