Sad story. Perfect fit at OU.
That’s not gonna go over well for his recruiting purposes. So sad to see a kid with such a talent possibly piss it away because he thinks he has it all figured out. I don’t want this kid anywhere near our program after hearing this.

Update on the Zach Evans saga. At practice today, he got into it with some of his teammates and cussed a coach again. Coach Kay then added another game onto his suspension. Evans got pissed and quit the team.
Man, what a bad look for this kid. Sadly, he doesn't have a positive male role model in his life to give him advice and guide him. This will obviously get out and schools will be aware of this situation and his selfish attitude. Kudos to Coach Kay for putting his foot down and keeping discipline in the North Shore program, or this could fester with others if allowed to continue. What a sad end to Evans' HS football career.
Bullshit. He hasn't hit a girl, yet.
Evans is about to go from one of the all-time highly recruited RBs in Texas high school to a punchline and cautionary tale.
you all do realize that kenny vacarro was kicked off TWO high school teams. it might have been his brother, i don't remember 100%, but it happened to one of them, and we still took him. this won't effect his recruiting in a big way. he'll still have the same schools after him. that obese O-Lineman will still be hanging onto him (let's see if he quits too, btw), and somebody will take him. now, once he gets on campus there may be some empty talk about "we got our eyes on you; we know what you did". but it'll be just that-- empty. i'm sure the colleges that are in the running for him are a little glad he's not in danger of injury.
Yep, quitting and even worse are the bogus reasons for which he quit.Oh and btw, he didn't get kicked off, he quit. That looks even worse.
Cougar High just got them a talented RB
WR Javion Hester committed to Missouri. Seems that Texas no longer had room. Good luck to him.
Most importantly, this is a bit of a signal that there are only a few select spots open. Probably just 3-4.
1. RB Ty Jordan
2. WR LV Bunkley Shelton (I guess he is the 2nd take at WR?)
3. DE Alfred Collins
Then 1-2 spots if something crazy happens regarding a top prospect or flip (5 star RB, WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba or Johnny Wilson, LB Josh White or Len'Neth Whitehead, DBs Kelee Ringo or Lathan Ransom)
That would put us at 21-23 commits which require a decent amount of attrition in the program (5-7 players).
Xavier Carlton? If so, not a new offerSaw an offer went out to a 6-7, 260 lb. DL from Utah. Is this new?
As was brought out by other posters, he quit. No one is saying he won’t get a scholarship. Also, no one but you is comparing Vacarro to one of the most highly recruited RBs in Texas High School history.you all do realize that kenny vacarro was kicked off TWO high school teams. it might have been his brother, i don't remember 100%, but it happened to one of them, and we still took him. this won't effect his recruiting in a big way. he'll still have the same schools after him. that obese O-Lineman will still be hanging onto him (let's see if he quits too, btw), and somebody will take him. now, once he gets on campus there may be some empty talk about "we got our eyes on you; we know what you did". but it'll be just that-- empty. i'm sure the colleges that are in the running for him are a little glad he's not in danger of injury.
I think he is a D-1 starter. Obviously I think more of him than Rivals does (5.7 with 20 offers).
Balance, speed, vision. Power.
Aggy tears are so sweet.https://247sports.com/Player/Troy-Omeire-46051486/
Texas has received a commitment from 2020 4 Star WR Troy Omeire out of Fort Bend Austin. He was an Aggie verbal. Listed at 6-3 210, he is the 32nd ranked WR and the 29th player in Texas.
Probably wasn't SEC good anymore

I think we are done on the offensive side. Could maybe take a 3rd WR (LV Bunkley Shelton) but we may be done now. That jumps Texas into 5th for the time being.
Texas now has 20 commits. How many more can they add? 2-3?
Justin Flowe will be welcome...I think we are done on the offensive side. Could maybe take a 3rd WR (LV Bunkley Shelton) but we may be done now.
On defense, Alfred Collins may be the last commit. We may add a LB (Josh White) and we will stay engaged with Kelee Ringo but that is a long shot. If the right grad transfer or JUCO pops up that is always an option.
Part of limiting the numbers is the 85 total scholarship limit which already requires some attrition for us to stay under but it is also related to the desire to keep spots for the loaded 2021 class.
Earl is still the best football player I've ever seen. Senior year at UT running out of the I formation, stupendous. He was our offense. Huge bummer that the aggy game his senior year is nowhere to be found. He destroyed those creeps that day.Tyler had an incredible high school RB once.
