Doug Flutie, unhappy that the Miami Dolphins celebrated their playoff victory over the Buffalo Bills by stomping on Flutie Flakes, will receive a letter from Jimmy Johnson saying no disrespect was intended. Johnson decided to send the letter after learning Flutie was upset, Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene said yesterday. The celebration in the Dolphins' locker room followed their 24-17 playoff victory Saturday over Buffalo. Johnson crushed a box of Flutie Flakes, and his players then stomped on the cereal. Flutie was upset because proceeds from the sale of Flutie Flakes help autistic children. Flutie's son, Doug Jr., has autism. When told of the celebration, the Bills quarterback said: "That's like stepping on my son."You stated earlier that JJ made fun of the autistic son. That would require knowledge on JJ’s part that the cereal was created for the son. All JJ knows is that the box of cereal is labeled Flutie Flakes.
Did JJ know about the son’s background and connection to the founding of the Flutie Flakes? Provide proof. Otherwise, you’re just speculating that JJ made fun of the son and you owe JJ an apology.
