Re Baylor, I'm curious why so many seem to think that there will even be a 2016 season for the Bears. The administration's first self-imposed sanction will be to cancel the season. Unfortunately, the reasons for said cancellation will be less altruistic and much more about trying to hideout from the press as much as possible as they sort this catastrophic mess out.

It'll be fascinating to see what comes next.

Landing Hudson would be huge, but don't forget about Okafor. I have a feeling he'll be a force to reckon with real soon.

As for Kam, I get the feeling Texas isn't interested.

Ken Hackamack just got his degree from Texas this past graduation. Allsome.

I was a manager when he played. So many knee injuries as he was so tall for the postion (now, but especially then) that he took low cut blocks all day long. Multiple knee surgeries. Played for the Chiefs a little while I believe. I was great seeing a pic that someone took of him getting his diploma last week.

As a side note, not sure I read it on this site, but speaking of old players, Paul Jetton recently passed.

First, thanks for sharing. That's cool to hear he got his degree after all these years.

He was one of the first players I remember being on the team when I moved from Waco to Austin as a kid.

Jetton died? Do you know what happened?

The quality of coaching from the OL will really matter this year. Mattox is in the frying pan right away.

People that objectify, or worse, rape women were gonna do that whether they saw pics of girls or not. Very few rapes are about sex anyway.

Most of us (Suchomel not included) simply enjoy the female form and can appreciate an attractive woman.

Now if you wanna talk about social media causing a generation of attention whores who feel compelled to incessantly post nude or semi nude pics of them self in order to get a little attention then I'm all ears.

The porn culture is bad for our young girls. Is there really even much disagreement about that? The stuff on this site is not quite porn and doesn't cause rape. I do think, however, that the sexualization of our society is worth talking about. I am fearful for my 17 year old daughter when many, many of the boys that she will encounter have been raised in a world of easy porn access. Their minds are full of some very ugly images.

I appreciate Ketch's concerns. Thinking about where to draw lines is a good thing.

Last time I saw Hackemack, he was stepping out of an El Camino with license plates that said "DBEAST". He was a Lambda Chi and we were playing them in a fraternity athletic deal. He stepped out of the car and was larger than life. the Lambda Chis started going crazy and I took one look at him and knew we were about to get our ass kicked. We did.
