Ketch's 10 Thoughts From the Weekend (The reality of where Texas stands heading into 2020...)

GOT is the G.O.A.T of tv shows. Lasted longer and still had less bad episodes.

Two things...
Do you think Tom would actually try to poach someone directly from Mack?

Take your shot. Who’s the Cowboys next coach?
a. Probably not. But, elite coaches don't give a **** about hurting feelings.

b. I think he hires Urban.

Much truth to Ketch's rant, but it has been obvious for a long time, except to Heisman voters., that Hurts is a terrific athlete playing QB. He is not a great Qb, never has been and won't be one in the NFL. Maybe he can put on some pounds and play TE or lose some and be WR. He is a great athlete, but his position going forward is not obvious.

Ou does not have a sizeable talent advantage over us, based on your own evaluations. They have had superior coaching. Hopefully, we are in the process of fixing that.

GoT #2 even after that horrendous final season. No way bro. No way.

I’m open to the idea that I’m still just angry and bitter about the final season but that ending knocks it out of the top 5 for sure, and potentially the top 10 for me.
The final season wasn't that horrendous. The final episode just didn't stick the landing with a perfect 10.

That show literally stopped the world with its efforts every season.

I wished that I had signed up for a 1 month trial, I can get this type of opinion on my IPhone thread. Everyone has an opinion, give me substance with credibility...Peter King, Dan Patrick, or Rich Eison true professionals instead of this whinning crap
lol. ok.

"Here's how I'd fill out the staff if I was calling the shots, assuming Stan Drayton, Herb Hand and Oscar Giles are the coaches on the staff that are safe."

Dude, you're on fire! This is the best 10 Thoughts I can recall. Would love to see that staff assembled!

you can take players away from Chelsea and they would still be fine. Take Tammy away and you have Michy and Giroud. Take Willian away and you have Pulisic, Mount, Pedro and Odio. One of Kovacic, Jorginho and Kante usually sits and we played another 19 year old, Lamptey, today at RB and he was exceptional. Wolverhampton doesn’t have that depth.
Your team isn't nearly as good as you think it is.

Oh my Ketch has said that Yurcich is same rating as Shaka. We are doomed!

Ketch, no Justified in the top 10 of the decade? C'mon Man. Solid article otherwise. Happy New Year to you and yours.

@Ketchum I watch too much TV, but I never watched any of your top 10 shows. I plan on making a run at some of them. Personally, I loved Jack Ryan, especially season 2. I also love Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Both deserve consideration.

If you haven't watched Breaking Bad, stop everything you're doing right now. I'll send you my DVD collection.

No. 9 - The List: Top 10 TV Shows of the Decade ...

Let's end this bad boy with some good pop culture arguing.

10. Fleabag
9. Boardwalk Empire
8. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
7. Better Call Saul
6. True Dectetive
5. Watchmen
4. Veep
3. Parks and Rec
2. Game of Thrones
1. Breaking Bad
Watchmen shouldn’t be anywhere close to this list.

It's going top be close between all of them, but I just think Wolves are the fourth best team in the league.
After watching the game today I have to agree. They deserved a tie against Liverpool

if Liverpool wins both the champions league and the premiership this year then they will be the greatest team I have ever seen

if they don’t they fall behind the treble winning Man U team or the Barcelona teams of about six to eight years ago. I think what Liverpool is doing is more impressive but Man U won pretty much everything that year and that counts.

That’s what you come back with? Great talk.
lol. One win over Arsenal and suddenly the loss to Southampton at home didn't happen. Or Bournemouth. Or Everton. Or West Ham.

All in the last month.

Maybe sit this one out, little fella.

Liverpool controlled most of the game. I wouldn't say Wolves deserved a draw, but worse injustices on a scoreboard have occurred.

I have to say I was wrong. I really thought someone would make a run at Liverpool over the Christmas fixture pileup, but nothing. This thing is on course to be over by April.

And while Chelsea aren’t great, they have more depth than wolves; let’s be real. And they’re gonna make a run at the January window in a way wolves can’t. Wolves also have to contend with the poison chalice; so that lack of depth may start to catch up with them if they keep advancing.

And still 4 points up on United. Not sure why you feel the need to degrade the debate with hubris. Lest ye forget that Chelsea beat Wolverhampton 5-2 earlier this year; not to mention Tottenham last week. Just because they played your team close doesn’t mean they’re the second best team in world.

I agree on Watchmen. Had a Dark Knight vibe on a comic book. I had zero expectations and was floored. Definitely one of the best of the year and probably on my top 10 list. I fckin loved it.

Ok so we beat Georgia last year and gave LSU one of their best games of the season this year but because OU always gets bitch slapped in playoffs we are no where near competing?

we are clearly not where we need to be but most wounds were self inflicted and correctable. I don’t see Us winning a natty in the next few years but if we can get out of our own way we could take this conference again soon and challenge in playoffs in next 3 years.

Chelsea has more quality depth, but there's too much youth IMO in that squad and the likes of Mount have already started to tire and regress back to the mean to a degree.

On paper, Chelsea should finish ahead of Wolves, but Wolves are playing a much better bran of football right now, as evidenced by their seven straight positive results on the road going into today.

It's just my opinion and it's a little bit of a leap of faith, but Wolves are only five points behind. I like their chances, especially if adama traore continues to evolve as he has.

I don't disagree that with development and added sensational recruiting, three years can be a solid timeline.

Both teams are in a different place than they were in September.

I expect 4-7 in the table to be very, very close all the way until the end.

Wolves have some big-time guts and it's starting to materialize.

The truth is that in the last week Chelsea were beaten at home by Southampton and then were controlled for 85 minutes by Arsenal and only questionable officiating allowed for that 2-1 comeback to occur.

A 2-1 comeback against a very, very, very average team.
