Ohio State and Urban be troublin'

Like Stoopsy said, if the Mixon deal happened nowadays instead of way back when 2 years ago, then things would be handled differently. Props to Lincoln for laying down the law.

I had no idea my simple minded one line sentence would draw such venom from the masses. It’s delicious, btw.
Not venom. Just truth and common sense. The clear lack of morality from $ooners in regards to violence against girls unequivocally prevents your fan base from pointing a crooked finger at anyone.

Enjoy being a hypocrite I guess? That’s delicious? Mkay.

Would OU have issues with Bob Stoops taking over in Columbus.

Ohio St can't get enough of recruiting Texas. I guess they think Bob Stoops if needed will continue what Tom Herman and Urban Meyer started.

Dude, calm down, it's only a message board. I do not believe violence against women is ok. I'm not promoting it, nor have I ever. I watch football on cable tv, I'm not a season ticket holder so there's that

Bob Stoops would be a seamless transition for Urban Meyer. They’re cut from the same cloth. Overlook females getting the shit beat out of them as long as it helps you get football Ws. And the fan bases are very similar in that regard as well. Win at all costs.

What makes their amorality and depravity regarding violence against females worse is that both men are married with daughters. Shameless.

If you say so. I remember you cheering for Mixon loudly. Just saying $ooners don’t get to chastise anyone regarding lack of morality.

The covers are being pulled on Ohio State.
Funny thing is that most of their coaches leave based on what could be considered anti social actions.

You act as if you insulting Stoops somehow is supposed to offend me? No, it doesn't. I've had no problem calling Stoops or players out at OU.

Your fans, coaches and admins overlooked violence against girls repeatedly. Not sure what’s untrue or confusing.

I'm starting to lean this way........

I'm also starting to wonder if Mrs. Herman is a bit of a busy body. Remember when Kurt Warner's wife couldn't keep her mouth shut? How about the day Colt McCoy's wife decided to call into a radio show?

Ladies, I got love for you but.......sometimes........

Remind me of when Michelle has run her mouth at Texas?

So weird that a coach and wife are being vilified for helping a friend in a domestic violence situation.

Not really. Buckeyes need someone to be angry at. And it can't be their own coaches who deserve it for God's sake.

I was referring to our own fan base and clob in particular. Guess he really doesn't like Herman.

Why? You can like someone and think their wife talks too much. That is the case with many of the guys I know.

But.....but......but..... Scholz! Don't you remember??

He said she called him a "n-word" and he just had to punch a nazi...

Ya....... never said I didn't "like" the guy..... simply said his wife doesn't pull a paycheck from Texas. Sally Brown-- be more like her.

Let’s be fair here. Sally Brown wasn’t in her early 40’s and definitely not around social media platforms like Michelle is. That being said I wouldn’t want my wife engaging in any twitter war with fans or coaches but I do like her fiestyness. Kind of reminds me of Brady’s wife after they lost. Something about he can’t throw it and catch it. LOL! In all honesty I can’t stand fans with no patience as well as big mouth coaches speaking out their ass...cough..cough..Urban.

Scholz my dumb ass has more class than you do. I don’t take you seriously.
You are such a easy target it’s boring. I’m not going to bring up the discussing gif you use often. You wouldn’t coach my kids buddy. Judging others you have to be shitting me.

In fairness, I don't know that Scholz is judging as much as he is pointing out a glaring hypocrisy....

It is a fact that Joe Mixon punched a female in the face.
It's also a fact that he was retained (though suspended) by Oklahoma.

These two fact are unquestionable.

Now, if she called him a "n-word" or not, it's not ok to hit a woman. I think we could all agree that there is only one circumstance where striking a woman would even be considered ok...... and that's if she's firing a gun at you with intent to kill you. In that instance, you've really got to ask yourself one question----

Wtf did I do to piss her off this badly?

Had Mixon committed his act today, I would hope, as I hoped back then, that Oklahoma would send him packing. But they didn't.

So, you must admit sir...... this, in hindsight (and when it happened) was not a good look, and to defend the actions of someone that cold cocked a woman in the face, well........ that's just ludicrous.

The fans have no say so and do not make the decision if Mixon plays or not so give the high horse a rest.

The difference is, had Mixon played for Texas and pulled that shit, he would've been booed off the field. Oklahoma fans roared their approval every time he touched the ball. That's the difference between scum and decent folk.

Oh yeah they do. We've had this discussion about fans not putting up with the NFL etc.. if fans don't like something they have a ton of say.
Really? I don’t hold season tickets. What do you suggest, me stage a protest in New Braunfels Texas? I certainly didn’t condone Mixons behavior and I would have kicked him off the team. And yes the fans are really sending a message to the NFL about the kneeling thing right? That’s why it’s not allowed anymore......oh wait. The fact is football fans will flock to a stadium to see their team regardless of the behavior of a member or members of a team. Fact. Perhaps you could tell of the demonstration plans you and others Horn fans have in response to Herman allowing a drug dealer on the team. That seems to have been swept away. Where’s the outrage from the fans?

Well if you say so but Herman took a big swing and a miss driving that point home by allowing the convicted drug dealer on your team. His decision didn’t seem to effect the game attendance that I can tell. Guess the fans are ok with it?

Agan I’m not defending Stoops or Mixon but just assuming fans are cool with how certain situations are handled is no where near an accurate assumption.

Bell you said a fan has no say. I'm responding by saying yes they do and they can sway a decision. You changing the topic to UT having a "drug dealer" from a women beater is typical. If the fans really didn't want Mixon to play for OU they would've made it possible. I'm not saying YOU alone can do it but get enough backing and it can happen. I don't hold you responsible for Mixon I think the post was saying OU fans as a whole didn't care enough.

No, you used the NFL as an example of how fans can force a change to happen to which I clearly demonstrated is not as cut and dried as you made it seem.

Is this hypothetical? I don't remember Herman taking a drug dealer.

He’s speaking of Reese Leitao.
yes he’s the guy that was arrested on felony charges of selling controlled substances, which he stored in his underwear, according to the reports, within an illegal distance from a school. I’m only hoping he was offering complimentary tic tacs to his clients.

Well we know one thing. Mixon's client couldn't chew a tic tac after he was done with her.
