Listening to House Divided today and Ketch is so much harder on Quinn than other QBs. It stems from the fact that Quinn was the number 1 overall player in his class and though Ketch fully believed he was a 5 star talent. Quinn was more of a national 15th-32nd 5 star guy than the clear no brainer 6 star QB like Arch.
Compare Arch's 4 games of meaningful action to Quinn's first season the competition for Quinn was much tougher (Alabama, Oklahoma) and the supporting cast for Quinn was significantly lower than the weapons Texas has on the 2024 team. Quinn was throwing to Second year Xavier Worthy, Jordan Whittington, Casey Cain, JT Sanders. A far cry from Isaiah Bon, Matthew Golden, Ryan Wingo, Johntay Cook, DeAndre Moore, Gunner Helm, etc. Look at What Quinn did against that Michigan Defense compared to all the QBs that have played against that defense and have pedestrian numbers. Quinn was lights out and has turned the corner.
