I've been thinking the one thing that could derail OK this year is that they only have 2 rbs on scholarship. I don't know much about Clay but Kennedy Brooks is a good rb and we know that Rattler can run with the ball.
Do you think we can stop Brooks and Rattler? I think we can. I asked @MiccoMacey why hasn't OK used Austin Stogner more this year. He's only had 8 catches and 1 td in 5 games. If we hold him 1 catch and keep him out of the end zone I'll take it. What are your thoughts?

LOL For someone as fond as you are about telling others they have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to football and acting like you know more about OU football than I do, your posts paint an entirely different story. You should go watch more RJ Young or something to get you up to speed homie.
I can assure you that no one fears OU's defense. Hell, KSU got after your team last weekend and put up 31 points with a back up QB. OU hasn't seen an offense yet like they're going to see on Saturday. I don't think y'all can keep up on the scoreboard. Keep whistling past the graveyard, man. You know that OU has some serious issues this year, but you won't admit that publicly.
Skylar Thompson is the starter for KSU, he's a pretty good qb, they have some talent. Our defense is improved but still has some issues. To me this will come down to OL and qb play. Both teams will try to disrupt the qb and take away what they do best. Rattler has shown to be better on the move this year than stationary and he's pretty damn accurate. I haven't seen Casey a whole lot but his accuracy does not seem to be his strong suit and throwing on the move may not suit him best either? Again I can't give a totally honest opinion because I haven't seen him much.

And given your point of view about things you don't like I seriously doubt you've listened to someone like RJ Young longer than 5 seconds.
Now back to fb why do you think OK is so invincible that we don't have a chance? We didn't play well against TCU? Well OK didn't exactly light the sky on fire against KSU.
We have the kind of skill players we haven't had in a long time. And regardless of what happens on Saturday this will the most focused TX team going into an OK game in a long time. Our coaching staff will let our team know that what happened is not acceptable. Casey has already been told so in no uncertain terms. The whole team has. We'll have Josh Thompson back this week. Denzel Okafor out? Moving Kerstetter to og? Andrej Karic is probably a better ot than Kerstetter anyway. We'll find out on Saturday.

Casey only completed 12 passes on 22 attempts for 142 yards. Casey was something like 3/11 on third down. They shut us down through the air for the most part.
That was before he converted his last 3 third downs. Don't be so negative we're not playing AL.
I don't listen to RJ Young, I never have. I never said OU was invincible. If you look at the beginning of this thread I called my shot being 34-31 OU, that's pretty conservative. I think you'll see OU use tempo Saturday, something they really haven't done all year except for a few times. Getting Rattler in rythm is key to OU's offensive success. I believe you'll see some packages for our backup Caleb Williams both running and throwing, he's pretty smooth. Gray has been getting the start at rb but I'll be very suprised if Brooks doesn't get most of the carries Saturday, Gray is a change of pace back who catches well too. Hall will probably gets some carries too. I expect Stogner to be more involved than he has been lately. Riley will obviously try to get some run game going and try to open it up for Rattler downfield.
He’s put up numbers against bad teams. Until he does it in a big game or against a quality opponent I’m not sold on him. It’s ok to take your orange colored glasses off and give a fair analysis. He really
struggled last week and really wasn’t under much pressure.

Then more bad times. But never made it back for the game. Assume this will be another close one. Almost always are which is why I never bet on the game. If I can get outofcali (San Fran) Cotton Bowl at the top of the bucket list. With Neb. next year.
C’mon man. Don’t ignore the fact that if Skyler was healthy you now have a 3 game losing streak to them. Yet, your D still nearly found a way to lose to an obviously disabled QB.
You must have missed the 3 interceptions he threw that were dropped by TCU. I guess if beating a bad Rice and Tech team sold you that’s good. But I need to see more before I believe in him.
Don't discount OU gave up a Kick return in the last minute and dropped 2 int. right in our db's hands. OU won. KSU will give Texas alot of problems I guarantee it
Jfc it was his first two f*cking starts, and btw West Virginia has a seasoned veteran QB who didn’t fair nearly as well against Tech. Give it a rest.

That's what I'm thinking Kennedy Brooks scares me I think he has home run ability. I agree with you Stogner needs to be involved. There's no reason for him not to be involved this deep into a season he's got to be injured. And Marvin Mims has not been as involved as he was last year. But OK has so many receivers that can take it to the house. I still think it's got to be us stopping their run game especially Rattler's scrambles.
