Don't put words in my mouth. Did I say that the top coaches are in "badass cities"? No. I just said that living in a place like L.A. (or NYC) appeals to some people. Some coaches are going to be influenced by their wives in terms of where they'd rather coach, if they get 2 offers.

Georgia folks seem to think Coley is a great recruiter in Miami. Brewster is supposed to be good, but that looks 50/50 to me, lot of options. Need a couple guys who can really recruit Texas. Hope he keeps Banks and maybe Price, but the rest of the old staff needs to go. We'll see.

Arkansas fans not pumped about Morris at all. I actually think he is ok, but winning big at Arkansas is tough. Great fan base, but only 4 or 5 SEC players per year in state. Morris would need to dip hard into Texas. Could really hurt Okie State, TCU, Baylor, and Tech. Probably wouldn't impact Texas or A&M as much.

Coley is a Fisher "yes man" that previously worked for Jimbo at FSU as OC. He was a glorified clipboard holder. He's a great recruiter in the SoFla area but his biggest successes in that area came when the Canes weren't having success. Now that you have very strong recruiters like Mark Richt, Josh Heupel, Willie Taggart, Lane Kiffin, Charlie Strong and Dan Mullen running the show at the Florida schools, recruiting in South Florida will be a tough sell for out of state schools, especially for A&M.

The fact that he is even considering bringing Coley in means that Jimbo will still be calling all the plays. That's another issue entirely.
