I got my monthly water bill yesterday and there was a notice tucked in with it. It said "The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has notified the Windfern Forest Utility District TX1010924 that the drinking water being supplied to customers had exceeded the Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) for combined uranium". Apparently the maximum amount allowed is 30 micrograms per liter and my water hit 31 micrograms per liter.

I don't know what disturbs me more. Them going over the allowed level or the fact that an allowed level exists. One would think any amount of uranium is not a good thing. I sure hope my water filtration system takes out uranium.

Is my skin glowing?
