In general, you want to land 6-7 super blue chips in each cycle if you want to have one of the best rosters in college football every year. If you can sign 10+, you're talking about an all-time great class.
As of this moment, Texas has 6 prospects who have been named as super blue chips by multiple services and 3 more than have been named super blue chips by a single service.
The reason why Fasusi and Justus Terry were so important is that it would really put Texas close to an all-time great class. It is still very, very good. It should also be noted that the final rankings will not be final until late January. None of this is final from a player rankings standpoint.

a. Texas got three of the state's top 10 prospects in the Rivals rankings. 4 of the top 12. 6 of the top 17. Solid, but just a little more in-state success and this is the No.1 class is the country in the Rivals rankings.
b. Texas got 2 of the top 10 kids in the Metroplex and none of the top 5. No Dak Moore. No Fasusi. No. Pettijohn. No. Keelon Russell. No. Ty Haywood. No Lamont Rogers. All of those players ranked in the state's top 11.
c. Texas still feels like it is significantly in the Justus Terry sweepstakes. We'll see. They are putting a lot of pressure on UGA.
d. It's Portal time. Texas will be very active,
