Chip Brown reporting Tom Herman to LSU

If Gruden were to return to coahong Texas would be a job he'd look at. Why? He loves QBs and Texas has one of the best young prospects in football.

That said I don't think he would. ESPN would love it if he did though.

I don't think he will. After reading the above linked story, Gruden had concerns that still exist at Texas.

Eh. I honestly don't think Gruden wants to coach. He just comes up with reasons to say no

I don't think those concerns exist though. Sounds like Adm McCraven has taken charge.

Yes but I also think Gruden will watch Shane throw the deep ball and feel as though he can work with that.
Shane has gotten virtually no help from his WRs this year.

I will watch some Texas games next year, regardless. But, If Strong is still the Texas coach, I won't block out time in my schedule for them. Additionally, I won't buy any Texas memorabilia. IMO, this is way worse than if Texas had chose to retain the winning Mack Brown beyond 2013.
If Texas gives us a ho hum no big deal if we win or not coach....I'm giving them the same type of fan. I'm a diehard never miss the Longhorns fan. Enough Texas gear to cloth 50 people. Lol

I hear ya. I have all sorts of Texas stuff. Hell, we even have all the ornaments to decorate our Christmas tree in all Longhorn ornaments - 7.5 foot tree.

I don't even live in Texas and I have all kinds of Horns stuff. Bucket list thing is to make it to a game in Austin. Haven't been able to do that yet.
I am a Texan living in the mountains of Virginia, 5 minutes from Virginia Tech. People here who know me always ask me about the Longhorns. Fuente is a coach I wish Texas would look at as well if Herman goes to LSU.

Yep I'm s fan of Fuente as well. He's one of many I'd put on over Herrman

This is for all you fellow alumni or fans. You support our team no matter who's coaching. Never in my 46 years have ever said, "I'm not supporting my school because of a coach. I support, I try to make it to the games and if I can't make it, I'll watch on tv. This is not the NFL. You graduated from UT, you support PERIOD. Thank you for your support. A True UT Supporter
