I haven't seen anything stating Strong has been fired yet. Herman isn't the only coach out there, there are better options out there.

I'll add that the report also says Perrin, Fenves and McRaven have seen a ton of negative reactions from donors and fans this week that they didn't expect when it came to the idea of keeping Strong

Like I have said before, if Charlie Strong is still the Longhorns coach next year, I will not watch the Texas Football team play, or have anything to do with the Texas Longhorns football team at all, and I suspect that I am not the only Texas Alumni who feels the same way. I am pretty sure that I have a lot of company in that regard. Don't get me wrong, I like Charlie Strong, I think that he is a great guy, I just don't like him for Texas.

I will watch some Texas games next year, regardless. But, If Strong is still the Texas coach, I won't block out time in my schedule for them. Additionally, I won't buy any Texas memorabilia. IMO, this is way worse than if Texas had chose to retain the winning Mack Brown beyond 2013.
