If it's done, why leak it in the first place during the LSU game? Two scenarios I think could happen. There is a deal that is signed and someone jumped the gun and leaked it. Because LSU and UH are not finished with with their seasons they retracted the report to save criticism from the media because it was thought to be in bad taste. The other scenario is that Hermans camp is pressuring Texas to make a move.

This shows absolutely nothing. And think about it...why would LSU do anything BUT deny this right now...they were in the middle of a game lol.
Because they jumped the gun...in a race to be the first one to report the news. Now, they look foolish and have to walk it back. Just like they did when it was "reported" that Strong was fired.
Just got off the phone with a VERY well-connected source to the situation...Herman signed the contract with LSU about 2 hours ago. A formal announcement time has not been set as of yet, but is expected to occur over the weekend. Deal is done.
The same could be said of you. You are so confident with your info, name them or move along.
If herrmans people are forcing Texas in to a choice right away I'd let him go. He may be a good coach but there are others. We shouldn't make a quick hire just because we're afraid to miss out.

And even if this was true that the deal was done. If I'm Coach O I give the LSU admin the finger right after the game. There is absolutely no way this deal is done you can cite whatever source you want. I'll stick with common sense
