When I first went to races in the 90s, those V10 and V12 (for Ferrari) engines were such an awesome sound. My very first race, I sat in the main grandstands opposite the pits in Montreal. The sound of 20-something cars revved up to 15,000RPMs waiting to launch was something I'll never forget. Its what got me hooked on F1.
F1 needs to go this route and screw all these complicated hybrid powertrains they have now
