According to Sheriff Clarke the birth of the MSM's 'fake news' began with the "Hands up, don't shoot" like perpetrated upon America in the aftermath of the unfortunate death of Michael Brown. We all know (except for extreme Leftist fools that Brown never attempted to surrender and was in fact trying to kill the officer) that the "Hands up" lie was passed from the MSM to pro athletes to actors, to musicians and to politicians.
It became 'gospel' to the low information voter that makes up the Democrat Party's base.
