Correct…once notice of withdrawal is confirmed, the Big 12 keeps the next 2 years‘ distributions and kicks the school out on June 30 after 18 months.
It is possible that the Big 12 considers our actions last July as notice, so there is a chance that the Big 12 will kick us out on July 30, 2023, but that won’t be known for sure until the Big 12 2022 Spring meetings occur.
The Big seems to be working full speed with the assumption that they will fulfill the contract through 2025.
