175Where do you think Quinn needs to be from a QB rating standpoint to win the SEC?

I must be the only Steely Dan fan that loves King of the World.
Unfortunately there aren't many suitors banging at the door. You better know what's behind door number two.

Assuming Q gets hurt againPerhaps I missed an analysis somewhere along the way... Are you assuming that Ewers gets hurt again? Or is there something else going on here? @Ketchum
I'm not assuming, but I do wonder.Assuming Q gets hurt again
a. No likely about it. It might not even be close.Great read this evening, especially on Worthy and Johntay. Agree with the insight and legitimate question being raised that QE may have underperformed this past year, knowing we likely had fastest / most talented WR duo in the country. Excited to see how he improves with new cast of receivers and 3rd year with Sark.
p.s. Caitlin Clark name typo.
Yes and don't forget who you owe it to. And no, it's not Geoff Ketchum.First?
It's not a positive thought, so that's somewhat expected.“* It's hard not to wonder if Quinn Ewers did enough at quarterback last season when you consider that he was playing with the two fastest and arguably athletic wide receivers in school history.”
on your Worthy combine thread a poster got destroyed for asking this question.
OB gonna OB

One week into the season and I'm already frustrated... On one hand, Austin FC took away a very solid point against the Sounders in Seattle. On the other hand, that team is a hard watch. Two shots all night and only one on goal. That's after having only two shots on goal at home last week. Woof.
It was ugly viewing. Like a Charlie Strong team. One week into the season and I'm already frustrated
My column was done early today!Must be an easy day at the office when that much good news rolls in over the weekend! Great column, let the good times roll.
B/S Rodney Terry outlasts David Pierce at Texas (not total years. From this point on)
I don't understand the logic. You are saying that because we had Worthy and Mitchell we should have beaten a team with Penix, Rome Odunze, Ja'Lynn Polk and Jalen McMillan? In that game the best QB and best receiver were both Huskies. It's not a positive thought, so that's somewhat expected.
It’s a tough one. On one had Pierce’s job is on the line THIS season while RT’s is not. That being said Pierce has some skins on the wall and has shown an ability to do just enough.I'm really not sure how to answer.
I think anyone who watched the game thinks we had plenty of opportunities to win it but didn’t capitalize due to one reason or anotherI don't understand the logic. You mean Caitlin Clark?Christian Clark had 35 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds in a 10-point win over No.2 Ohio State. Baller.
Sure, but the idea that Quinn didn't do enough last season doesn't make sense to me. Only 2 teams had better seasons.I think anyone who watched the game thinks we had plenty of opportunities to win it but didn’t capitalize due to one reason or another
Fumbles and red zone playcalling definitely stick out
From a rating standpoint he had some bad games, he was at a 168 rating or so before Tech and Washington games then it dropped offSure, but the idea that Quinn didn't do enough last season doesn't make sense to me.
Ok, but we finished 3rd. I think that by any almost any measure Texas and Quinn had a great year. I don't understand the negativity. From a rating standpoint he had some bad games, he was at a 168 rating or so before Tech and Washington games then it dropped off
Is it fair to even expect the former over the latter at this point?
He wasn’t good enough when it mattered most. A 125 rating in the CFP isn’t going to cut itOk, but we finished 3rd. I think that by any almost any measure Texas and Quinn had a great year. I don't understand the negativity.
(Buy) Let's start this week off with a bang. My only hesitation right now might center around Ewers playing in enough games to make it as a Heisman finalist.
