Ketch's 10 Thoughts From The Weekend (I like Quinn just the way he is...)

Obviously it would likely be in Polaroid form.

lol, well fvck me...always thought it was some of both & not just biggest blockbuster actor X was in...I guess I need to pay more attention

.
His list is tricky because he's so rarely rarely the lead. I figured if I left a movie like Stripes off, I've had 100 Stripes stand slagging me off and I just wasn't ready for that tonight.

Did realize Frailty had a fan club. ;)

Define mid.
If I’m being honest, Malcolm and J. Gray were both pretty mid for 5 star RBs. Nobody besides AD and Seabiscuit were ever very remarkable in college. That by definition is mid.

Adrian Peterson (2005/Oklahoma), superstar
Jermie Calhoun (2008/Oklahoma), Bust
Christine Michael (2009/Texas A&M), Mid
Lache Seastrunk (2010/Oregon), actually pretty good
Malcolm Brown (2011/Texas), Mid
Brandon Williams (2011/Oklahoma), Below mid he switched positions
Trey Williams (2012/Texas A&M), meh
Jonathan Gray (2012/Texas), mid
Soso Jamabo (2015/UCLA) Bust
Zach Evans (2020/TCU) ?

Active Players: Camar Wheaton (2021/Alabama/SMU) bust?

A couple of those mids were second day NFL Draft choices coming out of college.

Another earned his pension in the leafye and is a top 10 all-time Longhorn running back in rushing yards.

Frailty was a cool movie headlined by 2 Texas guys...7.2 IMDb

I didn't even remember him in Stripes...and that movie had such a spare 2nd half anyway...Stripes fanboys survive off the training scenes.

I don't disagree with you on the latter, but the fan boys came out when I did my John Candy list.

throwing them a bone on this one will never heal the wounds from the JC list...and they were wrong, Stripes had no business being on his list...you got that link, I could use a good laugh

That’s awesome. Buzz cut?
I honestly don’t remember. I was distraught about sitting next to one of a handful of men to have flown to the moon much less one of 3 that was onboard Apollo 13 and not knowing it until he was gone. After he left the barber asked “you know who that was right”? Obviously not 🤣.

ELO, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath are from Birmingham. So Duran Duran is certainly not that city’s finest

Records sold:

Duran Duran: 100 million
Black Sabbath 75 million
Judas Priest 50 million
Elo - 50 million

I mean... it's not a subjective opinion.
Who sold the most records is what wouldn’t be a subjective opinion. I mean by that analysis Pep is a finer manager than Klopp, right? LOL. Anyway, all in fun. Just never heard anyone ever refer to Duran Duran has “finest.” Heck, in 1985 I worked at one of their concerts and almost the entire hung was prerecorded with equipment under the stage. Had never seen such a thing. Which of course today is common place.

Great column! I watched that bus video with my sons and we laughed hysterically. Loved it. Maybe not as much as you love Quinn after locking eyes across a crowded room but…😜

Yet, I am a man of the people and if I sense that people would want a Top 10 list featuring Birmingham, England's finest, I'll do it.
I agree with your assessment.

How about a Top 5 of Duran Duran and a Top 5 of Asia. That should cover both bands’ great songs and a portion of their good music as well.

Yes, Christine Michael was drafted in the second round but would you not call his final season running for only 417 yards, mid?

Malcolm Brown, carved out a quality NFL career but that all time rushing stat is buoyed by being here for four years. He never had a 5 star banger of a season in college. Would a guy who averaged 4.3 yards even sniff the field today? You’re out here giving CJ the side eye and his first year is better than Malcolm’s senior season.

Jeff Lynn is essentially ELO but he’s worked as producer and songwriter for a lot of famous artists and bands, similar to Niles Rodgers.

Surround Sam with the talent that Quinn has around him, and he’d win the conference and get to the playoff too.

I'm not standing on the table for Duran Duran. I'm just busting your balls.

I'm just saying if solid NFL running backs are mid, what are actual mid players?
