I'll risk my credibility if it means all of the Tombstone truthers take a second to consider their love of the cornball.
I get it, it's just not my bag baby. Didn't mean to come across as being annoyed by the commentary. I enjoy movies just don't care about which ones win awards, there was a time when I did though.
A few notes on baseball's 2017 version of Morganna:
- Spent the day with @TEXPIMP, his lovely side piece, mrs joeywa and my son, juniorwa; took in three college baseball games on Sat. There were a few beverages consumed, (as if this were ever in question)
- OBs at the game included aforementioned and @Armadillo Slim @streettopeschel & @Rookie97; @DustinMcComas also popped in for a quick hello.
- McComas is a freaking trooper. Hoops game and two baseball games in one day, multiple stories and some scouting work-all with a sinus infection. Hope you're feeling better. Give him a raise Ketch.
- Special shout-out to Rookie and Slim for tickets-really appreciate the assistance.
- Slim & STP departed Disch prior to 2017 Titty-gate
- As Titty-gate was unfolding, I was seated up near Slim's seats underneath the press box. mrs joeywa and juniorwa were seated down near Pimp and his gal.
- When @LonghornDale asked in the game thread what clown had bared his boobs on LHN behind the plate, I half-jokingly replied it was Pimp, as I didn't see it from my seat. Then the pic was posted on Twitter. Social media-ha.
- Little known fact: Pimp was approached by an adoring fan postgame on the concourse. Said adoring fan had heard of the antics from a friend several hours away, and asked Pimp for a selfie. Pimp being Pimp obliged, again with his shirt open.
- I see a future @TEXPIMP Section at The Disch.
- Great to see some old friends/posters and to meet another seamhead (Rookie97 & his boy.)
- Little known fact #2: Pimp promised, (pronounced "threatened"
) to show his tits at the St Ed's game if there was a Grand Slam. There was a late Grand Slam by the Hilltoppers, and Pimp didn't fulfill his promise....at least not at that game.
- Apologies to @Sportzcaster for twisting Pimp's arm and making him miss the youth bday event in Taylor. On the up side, the stories from Saturday will be retold for far longer than the ones from the event you attended.

It can be both, but Texas purging its roster to the extent that 3/7 of the last seven recruiting classes were forced to transfer out for a variety of reasons is not a good thing.

Absolutely correct. Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer were the best Earp/Holiday of all movies covering Tombstone/OK Corral. How is the original Magnificient 7 not in Top 5.It's my #1 Western. Lonesome Dove was epic, but it was a 6 part TV series and shouldn't be included in best Westerns.

Warren's rushing yards versus Cal should be 119, not 199. (Typo, I know).
Heading into his junior year, here are D'Onta Foreman's top seven games, all from 2015:
Kansas 12-157-2
West Virginia 18-147-1
Oklahoma 9-117-0
TCU 18-112-0
Cal 9-47-1
Rice 7-32-1
Kansas State 10-43-0
So, as Warren enters his junior year, his stats are much the same as what Foreman's were at the same point, if not better:
Warren has 774 rushing yards to Foreman's 652 and has scored seven touchdowns to Foreman's five.
Foreman had fewer carries at the same point - 83 to Warren's 119 - and so Foreman's yards per carry were 7.8 to Warren's 6.5. But both of those averages are truly outstanding.
People may argue that Foreman's 2015 stats were limited because of the snaps that Johnathan Gray took away from him, but the same argument can be made for Warren. Gray had 123 carries in 2015 to Foreman's 94 and Warren's 71.
Warren needs to stay healthy and probably needs to drop 10 pounds or so, but as a runner he's on the same level as Foreman, and he enters his junior year in much the same situation that Foreman did.

And I disagree that there's too much talent on campus and it's naive to believe a heavy portion of the team doesn't also engage.
