ULL is a top 15 caliber team. Everyone back except Ragas and Mitchell and big enough on the LOS to compete with us. If we come out flat, they'll be up by 2-3 scores at halftime. They're not too far behind ISU and OU especially game 1.
If you can have balance by the receivers and tight ends catching a similar total number of passes you can keep the defense in disarray because Bijan is on his way.
We MUST defeat TCU if we are to step into the next tier. We need to pound these guys so there is no doubt so that it is not sufficiently close for the refs to impact the game.
Also, I'm not buying into the hype that is Iowa State. Are they a very good team? Yes. But unlike previous years they are not going to sneak up on anyone this year. Indeed, when is the last time Iowa State was ever ranked in the preseason Top 10? They have some talent but it's not "scary talent" save for Breece Hall (Give me Robinson every day and twice on Sundays). Yes, they're playing at home and it will be a hyper-charged atmosphere. I still think we can take them. Bear in mind we had DREADFUL offensive performances in the past two games with them (eight three and outs in Ames in 2019) and we still lost both games by five points. They are a better team but so are we. I think we take the Cyclones.
Lastly, RE Baseball movies: For the Love of the Game is IMO the best baseball movie ever.
No, it’s a weird place that M. Night Shyamalan made like The Village, except baseball.

I always loved that movie, but once I had kids and my Dad passed it just hits me like a ton of bricks. The idea that you could introduce your kids to their grandpa (my dad died 5 months after our first child was born), have a catch, and just talk one more time is this fantasy and dream that I would give everything I have for…like he says, “maybe it is heaven”
At least you didn't bite on less than 3-0 start like Anwar. Let's hope they start good and catch fire. UT needs to see the seeds of optimism if not true optimism in 2021. The close but no banana decade has been tough to endure. Here's to Hook 'em and Happier Days.

Do you feel like Josh Moore is being kind of overlooked? He is our leading receiver even though he disappeared last year and he’s having a great camp as of late.
