That's too bad, but I get it. Favorite part of the CFB weekend for me, win or lose. I appreciate your efforts!Honestly, I'd rather not. I'm running out of steam as it is with that so the last thing I want is for it to get serious.
'95-'96 I worked in the SID office, '97 I interned at KVUE, 2003-2005 I worked at News 8 Austin.
Let's see what happens after Iowa State. I think that will determine the complaint level.
of course.Seriously though, is anyone from Orangebloods coming up to cover the game?
who did you work under?I honestly don't remember. There were two incredibly hot girls that worked there then and I was usually just paying attention to them. I'm shallow like a kiddie pool.
I'm sure our paths crossed quite a bit though.
I worked mostly under Amy. She was from East Lansing wasn't she? But it was AHOD for a home football game. I remember when ND came to town and I was in the pressbox just after kickoff. I went to use one of the tiny men's rooms and Willie Nelson literally hit me with the door while he was on his way out. He had just sung the National Anthem a few minutes before that and he and Darrell Royal had gone to the men's room. Three hours later I was in the room just outside of the visitor's locker room where they did the visiting coaches press conference and I was standing next to Lou Holtz. Pretty surreal day for a college kid. I worked a bunch of basketball games too.who did you work under?
Amy, John, Dave?
Come on Ketch, you promised you'd give me the real scoop on CS over a couple of beers. Which bar are we meeting at after the game? I'm buying...of course.
1) Believe it or not, I do learn, even if slowly. You guys don't want to hear it from me. Trying to respect that as much as I can.
.
I think it remains to be seen. What happens is it's 14-0 on Thursday night and the offense can't out points on the board?@Ketchum How long a leash do you think Shane has? It's pretty much assumed he'll be the starter, but if he struggles does Sam come in or do they let Shane ride it out?
I think Herman has to feel his way through this.
He is the No.1 target in the minds of some.I said it on this board a few years back when people were talking about him then, but I'd be shocked if Del Conte left TCU. He's obsessed with TCU/Ft Worth.
TCU can't pay him quite what Texas does, but they can pay him more than what he wants and needs, and money isn't everything to him.
His daughters also go to school in FW and I really really don't think he leaves before they graduate high school.
