Ketch's 10 Thoughts From The Weekend

It’s funny that @Ketchum has been doing these Top 10 list for what seems like years and they are based on HIS opinion. Yet so many people attack his list like he was committing some kind of fraud. OMG! He gets more replies and feedback many times on his list than the previous 9 thoughts.

Of all of the list that anyone could compile, I feel that a Top 10 Beatles songs is practically impossible considering the depth of the success they had in such a short time.
They had 20 #1 songs and 23 songs are in the Billboards all time too 500 songs.

According to Billboard Hey Jude is their greatest Hit.

But for me Revolution is my favorite.

You cannot go wrong with any Top 10 Beatles play list. Only a few others bands or artist can say that
I know what I'm signing up for each week! haha

Any Beatles list of songs is a great list and I'm sure everyone's personal list is different.

For example, the most played Beatles' song on Spotify is "Here Comes the Sun" by George Harrison and it's not even close, played about twice as much as the second most played Beatles' song.
Maybe the same person just keeps playing it over and over. ;)

@Ketchum highly recommend the FF retirement. I did this years ago and have never once missed it. The time I get back with the family is invaluable. I only watch my beloved/wretched Chicago Bears and some high profile games if I'm bored. If I want to talk mess to my buddies I just text them now 😀.

i retired from fantasy a couple of years ago when my long time league dating back to the late 90s at UT folded. It got to a point we all had kids and too much going on. I played in one of my other leagues for a year and decided it was time to hang it up. I now work as consultant to my boys who play against each other and with their friends. It is funny to hear my 21 year get trash talked by his 13 and 11 year old brothers and their friends. Luckily for them he’s a good sport. The oldest also plays in a league with his uncle (and uncles friends). I get more than enough action just helping them and hearing their trash talk.

That's awesome.

For the record, Here Comes The Sun wasn't a Top 10 song in the list that Rolling Stone Magazine did last year.

It ranked No.28.

@Ketchum great job on the column this week. Question for ya: don’t you think the staff is going to slide Ovie to edge given we primarily run nickel and he’s our best edge rusher on the roster most likely. This assumes we can’t find the answer in the portal

They didn't this last year with such force that it makes me think it's what they want to do. They seemed to prefer him most in the SAM role.

Sark gave up on the kid last season and Card knows it. 7+ quarters is what he got.
He needed to be pulled against AR. We all agree. - no one contests

Sark looked at film and decided it was best the CT start - we didn’t see so here we have to just trust Sark

CT goes off for 3 games! - we all agree it would be insane to pull CT we he has over a 200 QB rating

CT gets hurt, Sark still goes with CT - maybe Sark should have gone with Card in hindsight but again, CT was on an insane stretch of games

Sark goes with Card against WV - Card looks the best he has all season! Then gets hurt - what did Sark do here to abandon Card?

Sark does his job and goes and gets the best talent available - no one should argue that Sark should get talent.

how the hell did Sark give up on him?

He needed to be pulled before halftime of that game.

He didn't need to fall into the weeds of the position with no real way to come back after 7 quarters, only to be forced into playing, only through injury.

There were two sets of rules for the quarterbacks last year. It's just the way it happens sometimes.

The Power of The Dog...ugh!

Revolution needs on that list!
You get alike for the Revolution comment. I am surprised it doesn’t get more notice here. One of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll songs ever in my opinion. Starts out with a distorted screeching guitar and a primal scream and then some of the best lyrics ever (if you really listen to them).

One of the most important recruitments the coaches still need to win is convincing Sanders that he can be 1st round draft pick at DE.

It almost made it. It was tough sledding to make the top 10.

Ironic thing is his last appearance he finally looked like he belonged. Switch seemed to have flipped.
He certainly seemed to have his finger on the switch. Too hard to say if he had it flipped on. He's still a baby.

Besides not getting pulled at halftime of AK instead of 1 series later when should he have played?

you are righting him off, by suggesting he has no future at Texas because Sark did his job and went and got Ewers. Ewers didn’t impress enough at tOSU to say Card has no chance.

I truly believe that had Hudson not gotten hurt against WV we would have won that game. Card looked good.
