****Offical Texas Baseball Thread****

Talk about a fvcking gift.

Wow. Stanford goes to Omaha and doesn't earn it.

What a gut punch of a way to lose a game but they fought their ass off all game long. Can't even be mad, those lights can be a bitch sometimes. I don't think we would have stood a chance against Wake Forest anyways. If we can get Gordon, LBJ, and Witt to come back for another year that should give us 3 really solid arms for next years team.

You practice and play so many games under the lights it should make no difference that is a routine pop fly and should of been caught. We let Stanford into the cws cause of it.....

It's going to be a trip if we find out that Stanford has some kind of environmentally friendly state rule where they have to use certain light bulbs or dim the lights to conserve energy.

Easy to say when you're not the guy fielding the ball though. Shit happens. This team overachieved this year making it to Supers. They would have got hammered by Wake anyways.

What I don't understand about the current narrative on the Texas baseball team is this, everyone keeps saying that this is a rebuilding year. I don't think so. Texas is set to lose even more players than even last year. I don't see many young players coming in which makes this more of a bleeding out. This team is a shell of the team we had 2 years ago.

Not once in my life time have I missed a ball in the air like that and I played on fields with worse lights or no lights on the field in San Angelo Texas with mesquite trees growing in the outfield

We will return more than we did last year.
