My 2008 f150 lariat is starting to have some transmission issues. 212k miles and think this might be the one that pushes me over the edge to buy new vs. paying for a new transmission.
I like buying brand new and running it into the ground, but haven’t looked at trucks in 17 years so don’t want to buy a new f150 with an iffy engine if a 1 or 2 year older model has a more reliable motor, etc.
Any good websites to read up on recent models/issues for trucks? Or thoughts from the board.
