Dame Lillard seems thiiiiiiis close to become an actual superstar in the NBA. That dude needs to break the hell out of Portland.

You want to change what makes him so special? That's his city, his team, and he has a great #2 guy. You want him to turn into the guy chasing rings and going to someone else's team? I love that hes an alpha and is doing it this way. He may never win a ring but a lot of good players don't.

No, I don't have any care in the world whether he stays in Portland or not. I root for great players not to be marginalized. I don't care about the romanticism built around staying in a city for an entire career.

Is he being marginalized in Portland? I guess I don't don't see why root for him to leave in free agency when he is on a good team now already instead of just rooting for him in general. Their team is already probably gonna be in the WCF.

Thing is... I like LeBron. I've just seen every single storyline of him as a player replayed so many times that I don't miss him right now.

Yup. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t dislike him. I appreciate what he’s done. Thing is, he’s been doing it a LONG time now and he and his teams have been at the top the entire time, so it’s definitely redundant and has given me LeBron fatigue. Time for some new stories.
