I'll believe the California schools splitting into separate divisions when I see it. There will be a strong lobby to keep the original Pac 8 together with the "newer" schools in the other division. Texas definitely needs to have a couple of California schools in their division to make the deal.

No dispute. That realignment might be tough. Nonetheless, most anything would be an improvement over the Big XII as it now exists. (Oh and I don't want the Big XII to expand) Of course if we brought some "friends" along with us then the alignment changes dramatically. Oh shut up (to self), even if we realigned it's years off and I'm not sure my wife even cares about my opinion. Cheers

Great stuff Ketch. Especially the 2 year old boogie. Have a 4 and 2 year old now, girl and a boy. It's the absolute best time of my life. Exhausting. But the best time.

Again, you're focusing on tv revenue ants not what makes a great conference. You make an outstanding product and the tv revenue will follow. I don't discount the value of big markets but that's not the key. Otherwise, the Raiders would have stayed and flourished in LA. Once the Clippers began to win, they became popular but before that they were laughable.
