Gotta say, I am underwhelmed with the play of our offensive line so far.....a lack of adult beverages prevents me from using more colorful language for the moment....
Biggest thing I notice so far is the ball is going to the play makers on a consistent basis. That change alone will win us more games.
Their front is pretty good. But the OL play is looking pretty bad. Missed assignments and poor technique
Card looks to be setting into the game. He’s got very impressive arm talent. If you squint really hard you could say he has some similarities to Aaron Rodgers.
Much more impressive than our offensive line....which I have found to be olfactorily offensive thus far....(hic...)
I don't know if I agree with that just yet. He has protected the ball thus far.
Overall impression-- looks like an adult is in charge. Yeah o-line needs improvement. They gashed us up the middle twice early. But overall, good playcalling, defense looks fundamentally sound, most telling is special teams have been excellent save for the punt that we let roll a bit (blocks in back canbe called on almost all returns).
