OU is more of a run team. We will be fine. It's the passing teams in the Big 12 that's the problem. WV, TT, BU, OSU and TCU can beat UT due to the lack of a UT passing defense. KU, KSU, ISU and OU are more of a run base offense.We are going to make OU look like a playoff team...wait...we make everybody look like a playoff team
Those 8 points lost on special teams really hurt. I really like Traylor but maybe someone else should coach special teams. Our kickoff returns are garbage as well, I wish they would take a touchback.

This is upsetting to any Texas fan but you need to think twice about firing Charlie.There are some underlying issues besides the record and has Texas given him enough Time to build his own program.How would recruiting be affected?
It is ultimately on Charlie, but, there is so much fail on special teams. We have no kick return threat yet no changes have been made. Duvernay isn't ready (I thought it was Boyd-sorry Boyd). No willingness to change. Plus, we saw 1st hand the lack of PAT adjustment. Sickening.
Cwillfromdatx---- bud...... he went PUBLIC this week with the mantra "I'm going to get actively involved with the defense"........ I said here LAST WEEK that if he does this, he takes AWAY the ability to fire Bedford as a scapegoat. The blame lies squarely on Charlie now.
I'm sorry to say this but Charlie was a PC hire, straight up. He's not a big time coach not even close. We hired him just because he's black and so we could show the rest of the world how diverse Texas is. Sorry but he wasn't the best choice. Forced diversity and PC will always result in failure. Just hire the best period, regardless of who they are. I'll never be convinced that his skin color wasn't a factor in his hiring. I'm saying this as a minority who initially was willing to give Charlie all the benefit of the doubt. Not anymore.

I agree. I also believe that's why so many people say, " I like Charlie and I want him to succeed."
