(Buy) I can't think of one.

B/S There isn’t a position group on this team that you would trade with another conference team?
I.e. you may take OUs qb room because Gabriel has a higher floor than Quinn and they still have a freshman 5 star.
So when you say buy, you are saying Texas has the best position group unit at every single position group in the Big 12, or am I understanding that question and your answer wrong? So our LB group is the best LB group in the conference, and our DL group is the best DL group in the conference? Surely you aren't suggesting that?
When I look at Victor I see a Shawn Bradley short career
I think you could make a case for the TCU linebacker corp, but Ford is better than any of their starters, but they might have more depth.
That's one I thought long and hard about.
I'm not sure who has the best DL, so it made giving an answer on that one difficult.
Yes, by thousands.Ketch,
Do we have more members than Inside Texas?
I'm just thinking that if Texas truly does have the best position group in the Big 12 at every single position, how do they not win every single conference game by 3 scores and roll through the conference undefeated without breaking a sweat? Every pre-game preview that Suchomel writes would have to give Texas the advantage in every single matchup.
Thank you. Thank you very much!! Just not even close to the same type of player. VW may or may not hold up but he has special talent. His career might be cut short by injuries, and it might not be.
However, for however long his career ends up being, it will look nothing like Shawn Bradley's career on the court.
I think that's the title of the aggy athletic department recruiting video. You can be really good and finish 6th in that league.
Let's hope it doesn't become a shared one.I think that's the title of the aggy athletic department recruiting video.
1. Raiders of The Lost Ark
I wonder how many of you will disagree with me on this one? As far as I'm concerned, it's as timeless and incredible as almost any film made in the last 40+ years.
Yes, by thousands.
Any disagreement would only be a minor quibble. I like Empire better (tallest giant) but Indy is a more iconic character (tallest giant).
Clear and Present us my fave of that early trilogy
Not sure if you’ve ever compared careers in the 90s but Ford & Harrison were pretty comparable in the prolificness of their respective careers. Then Ford was in string of steamy crap movies starting with Random Hearts while Hanks was in films like Green Mile which continues to present day
You mean Hanks and Harrison, not Ford & Harrison I assume.Any disagreement would only be a minor quibble. I like Empire better (tallest giant) but Indy is a more iconic character (tallest giant).

I was listening to a podcast this week that actually talked about that exact thing between Hanks and Ford.
To be somewhat fair, they had to deviate from the book because Harrison Ford is the star. Jack Ryan is not really the star of that book. Still annoying when a book you like very much is set on fire.I can't speak to the first point, but I'll give the helicopter scene a pass (and really most of the final scene on the roof) because the dialogue is so good. The final scene with the president is a perfect 10.
This. Easily I imagine
Every once in a while the universe just brings you and I together.
I get that for sure.To be somewhat fair, they had to deviate from the book because Harrison Ford is the star. Jack Ryan is not really the star of that book. Still annoying when a book you like very much is set on fire.
Harrison Ford is my favorite Jack Ryan.I can't speak to the first point, but I'll give the helicopter scene a pass (and really most of the final scene on the roof) because the dialogue is so good. The final scene with the president is a perfect 10.

Confession: I haven’t seen the new one. I’ve been too nostalgic about the old one.Maybe watch the new Blade Runner first? Then watch the original?
The new one is pretty bad ass. Watch it with a good sound system.Confession: I haven’t seen the new one. I’ve been too nostalgic about the old one.
I agree. The variety of content is what has kept me around all these years. The two sites are quite different in a lot of ways.
Credit to them for generating excitement from their board to that single thread. I've given it some thought and I'm not sure if we had done the same, the results would have been the same.
Our audience is several things....
a. More of a football audience and a little less hell bent on following recruiting to the point that it wants to look at photos of kids on their visits.
b. Possibly a little older.
Add in the fact that this site has a much more active board with so many more topics that I'm not sure anyone is interested in just being in one thread. I don't mean for this to sound ugly, but it's a little like living in Austin vs. College Station.
On any given day on OB, there are countless topics and content pieces to explore and get lost in. Meanwhile in College Station, you're more than likely just going to eat at the Wings and More because what else is there to do? On a daily basis, we have more different kinds of threads and about various things by 9am than our competitors will have in an entire day.
Again, fantastic job this weekend by them. They seemed really proud and that's what you aim for. That being said, I was really, really pleased with the job we did, which was geared more towards our specific audience.
I like the graphics and relevant info on the cards, I just need to be able to get through the article. I haven’t even attempted a Sunday Pulpit in months due to the videos at the end causing reloads. Just passing along - again, love the TTFTW column!Yeah, sorry about that. I had to make a choice between just listing a bunch of names with positions or using the player cards.
I was kind of damned if I do and damned if I didn't. I leaned in on the player cards because most people like those better than just verbage.
Baldwin. I haven't watched the Prime Video series so I can't include that guy, and I liked Baldwin better than Afleck.who would be second?
