Ketch's 10 Thoughts From The Weekend (Nothing but positivity)

My favorite Alan Arkin movie is The In Laws with Peter Falk. They both are funny together.

His role in S1 of The Kominsky Method on Metflix is really great work by him at his older age.

(Sell) Yeah, I don't really agree with this. Do they seem similar at quarterback?
That's fair. I should have been more clear by saying that I view them as similar in terms of both being much more lopsided (wrt mature talent, depth and strategy) in favor of the offense. All-up, I think Texas hold the advantage (overall) to USC - both in offense and defense.

c. Quinn Ewers' body is so transformed that it's hard to know where to begin. I thought he played with a little bit of a Matt Stafford body a year and now he looks like a UFC middleweight.
His body transformation will likely pay-off in spades next season. Previously, his body just couldn't take the D1 level punishment, and it showed as the season wore on. Proud of QB1. Hook'em!

Top 5 Cowboys wide receivers

1. Irvin

2. Hayes

3. Pearson

4. Dez
5.. Hill/Owens

Cracking the top 5 is definitely doable.

On 3. Referring to preston or drew? Preston was an outstanding, very underrated pass catch ing running back

Hard to do an Eastwood top ten, but I’ve always thought Two Mules for Sister Sara was an underrated gem.

1. Steve Sarkisian

Can Steve do it? Can he shake that "Seven-Win-Steve" label? Can he get the best out of Ewers? Can he shut up the naysayers who question his game-day chops? Can he do the thing that hasn't been done around these parts since 2009? He has all of our attention.
Great list. Stating the obvious but numbers 2 through 10 become very meh if we have an 8-4 season.

Fair. I feel like the fight with Jack Wilson drags out too long. I like him throwing the fight against Tank Murdock. He doesn’t want want everyone coming after him but could easily beat his ass. Beating up the guy on the lake who stalks him the entire movie is great. I just love all the Black Widow/Philo stuff in the original. Orville finishes his pie while Clint goes outside with the Black Widows.

To be clear I would watch either one right now. Clint is a badass.

Both definitely have some real highlights.

Unforgiven is a good movie, but #1? The fact that Pale Rider, Trouble with the Curve and The Mule aren’t even in your honorable mentions is criminal. I award you no points and issue you a yellow card.

Two of those movies didn't come close to making the list to such a degree that they weren't even considered.

No ”High Plains Drifter “Hang ‘em‘ High”? Both some of his first!
Not for me. It was a tough Top 10 to squeeze into. I will say I'm probably flexible with the last two slots.

GBU is no doubt a classic, and has a Longhorn grad in it (Eli Wallach). However, it drags a bit in the middle and should have been edited down. I think For a Few Dollars More and High Plains Drifter are more enjoyable watches.
That's fair.

I wonder how long after Banks arrived on campus it took for Flood to realize he was the best OL in the program and most likely a future first round pick?

First practice with pads? First week?
First day.

I've seen none of that. :(

I'm not sure, but I know why you would say/think that.

I do hope he's not too slight. NFL teams will want more weight on him.

For me it will always be The Outlaw Josey Wales because of his exchange with Ten Bears.

@Ketchum Heartbreak Ridge is one of my all- time when sick at home go to movies - “the only thing you can build Webster is a good case of hemorrhoids!”
It's an all-time great "when it was on HBO back in the day" movie.

Probably seen it 500 times.
