Ketch's 10 Thoughts From The Weekend: Watch out, Colt! Here comes Quinn...

Dude. Tom Hardy as Bane. Spot on. Jim Carrey as The Riddler, believable. Swap them and it’s a no f*cking way. Pattinson is more fitted for something like Loki, but still couldn’t hold Hiddleston’s jock.
Have you seen it?

American Assassin was in my top 5 Keaton movies. Maybe you haven't seen it, it's really, really good.

Regarding the VY stat...I have some vague memory of him being yanked (maybe just hurt) in a game vs Mizzou where he was not playing well at all and Chance Mock came in and won the game at the end.

Note: Nevermind...that was a home game.

@Ketchum you Fargin Icehole. No Johnny Dangerously in your Top 10? I get it, we all resonate to different things. I saw that movie with my Dad in the theater, when I was 11. Marilu Hanner was so hot. That would be in my top 5 of his movies for sure. I love your top 10s as they garner discussion. Good stuff you summina batch.

Let's see your top 10!

It was a huge hit. 7th biggest movie of 2022.
It’s Batman. Besides there’s a whole generation of Twilight losers out there. I’m talking about real life circles. I’ve never heard anyone mention it or him as someone memorable or worth discussing.

Road game?
I was typing up my oops edit on my post while you were typing your response!

VY is the GOAT, but he had some rough times on the road to becoming the GOAT...Quinn has a chance to accomplish things VY never did (Heisman, two conference championships, winning record vs OU).

Quinn likely won't be as iconic as VY when it's all over but he truly can accomplish everything VY did...and more.

The cynic in me says sell.

The optimist in me says that Texas loans Owens out to TCU for two years and if he's good enough AND if Sark needs him, he comes back.

It is interesting all the movies and shows that people have watched zillions of times on linear cable that we likely would not have watched more than once or twice if they were on streaming and available any time we wanted to see them. Of course not everything was a gem like “Gung Ho”. There were some real clunkers that we watched because they were on like “Humanoids from the Deep”. I remember watching “Against All Odds” quite a few times. I could go on for days but I won’t.

That movie wasn't a hit and is historically forgotten.
Okay, I thought the list was more about your opinion and not popular opinion or historical importance. Dream Team is hysterical, Keaton is great, Christopher Lloyd is brilliant, and Peter Boyle delivers a comedic gem. Not sure if marketing let it down, but it could be in there with Gung Ho...but its no Mr. Mom. Just my opinion I guess. Thanks for the weekly piece. I enjoy it.

Keaton was the bees knees in The Other Guys. Fackin hilarious.

1. Mr Mom
2. The Other Guys
3. Multiplicity

Beetlejuice of Howard Stern fame is 10000x better than the movie.
