To me, they've got a bit of that same “Yankees pinstripes” mystique about them in global club soccer.Real Madrid might be the weirdest team in Europe. They don't look like champions and yet, you can't quite shut the door on them in the Champions League.
Historically good for us ... Routine for Bama.Lock Flowe down along with Evans and Ringo and you have yourself the cornerstone for a historically kick ass class for the good guys
When you joined NAMBLA?Lol on the jacket. Reminds of when i first joined over a decade ago.
They were doing well in Cali long before he arrived.Viney has been one of the biggest reasons why OU does so well in California.
at running back or just in general?
Exactly.Quite frankly as long as we are pulling in top 5 classes every season I don't care if we don't pull a single recruit out of DFW.

RIP Longhorns basketball.Damn shame nearly 4 years into Shaka's tenure and we describe 7-6 as "pretty decent" play. Although not quite as sad as CDC calling a 5 game stretch where we lost 3 games as "impressive."
indeed. To me, they've got a bit of that same “Yankees pinstripes” mystique about them in global club soccer.
above .500 in a rugged league is "pretty decent" and not any kind of hyperbole to get worked up over.Damn shame nearly 4 years into Shaka's tenure and we describe 7-6 as "pretty decent" play. Although not quite as sad as CDC calling a 5 game stretch where we lost 3 games as "impressive."
Those are mints I’m sure.Who carries snuff in their back pocket? Hurts like hell to sit down.
Re no. 10-
Who frames a picture of Augustus McRae & Woodrow F. Call?

I just don’t like Dallas in principal. I’d rather kids who want to play here. They all seem entitled, except the ones who decide to come here. Lol.Quite frankly as long as we are pulling in top 5 classes every season I don't care if we don't pull a single recruit out of DFW.
Totally agreeIMO, First Man and Sorry to Bother You are better than several of the “Best Picture” nominees.
... If new commit Mookie Cooper played his high school ball in the state of Texas, we'd be talking about a top-10 level type in-state talent. I compared him to Duke Thomas the other day, but the name Nathan Vasher rolled around in my head as well.
He's not Quan.Mookie is built more like Quan Cosby than Duke Thomas or Nathan Vashar, who were primarily DBs at UT.
who are you arguing with?I think it's pretty telling. At the end of the season, if we are 9-9 in Big 12 play and firmly in the middle of that standings we will be firmly "average." Nothing "decent" about given it would be a 4th season for Shaka. It's time some of you at least "pretty decent" expectations for the basketball program.

Wow, good answer. Wouldn’t we expect Evans to have a much bigger impact on the program though?Sergio Kindle

Sadly the people that matter aren’t cutting the check. I always thought it was slam dunk he was gone but unfortunately it doesn’t move the needle with the alumni who can make a difference.A person who thinks 7-6 in year 4 of a Texas basketball coaching tenure is "pretty decent."
