Ketch's 10 Thoughts From the Weekend (Honoring a real difference-maker in UT football history...)

"6. Varys' big final move has not yet been revealed, but next week sets up to be all kinds of hard-core. Either all of the Starks are going to die or Dany is. It's hard to see a middle ground."

The way the show is wrapping up, you have to wonder if they even go back to Vary's. It was another rush ending his character to the show. He was sending ravens, which we would have to assume to the North. Oh well....
he sent that note to someone. The show made sure we saw that it got out.

a. Dany's heel turn has some holes in it.
b. The end for Jamie was lazy writing.
c. See A.

Also, there is a beginning scene for an earlier episode where Cersi is a young girl and meets the witch in the woods. The witch tells her that all her children will die and she'll die at the hand of valonqar. Did she? If not, why even have that scene?

The note read that Jon was the true heir, correct? If so, I doubt it's to the North. Sansa already knows. I went into this episode with the mindset of trying to just enjoy the ending. But, it's very difficult too. Just ready for it to be over.

I’m not sure if the TV show included the valonqar prophecy.

The Iron Bank?

Not that they matter much any more.

Prophesys are not exact. Valonquer = little brother, she died in Jamie's (little brother/second twin) arms/hands.

Perhaps, and it's not a total plot hole but that she will die at the hands of the Valonqar, which translates from High Valyrian as “little brother”. So, she didn't die by his hands (he has one BTW), but he shielded her away and they die together.

Thinking of this from that perspective makes their ending lame. How can the last standing villain be that dumb. She had so many moments to escape. And for Jaime to go through all he has, to return to be with her. Disappointing....oh well, one more to go....

A. Theyve litterly have been planting seeds of her potential madness for 3 seasons
B. Agree
C. See A.
it still needed more on screen development. It was a rushed move.

They spent seven-plus seasons developing his character in a nuanced way and then had him go YOLO in the last 1 1/2 episodes.

Thinking back, you're correct about those seeds. However, her entire journey has been about not being her father. She went from ep 4 granting Gentry Storms end, to finally revealing some madness after Missandei is killed. The entire Mad Queen was rushed. Minimal development into this character.

I was a fan of Chris Evans until he spewed his liberal BS all over social media. Captain America? Yeah, right.

You need to see Dear Evan Hansen. It's up there with Hamilton to me.

Didn't love the ending with Cersei/Jaime, but though the episode was pretty great overall.

Boling turns 19 in five weeks which probably makes Owens times a bit more amazing. I hope Boling keeps running the 400 mtrs because he has the strength for that race. The US is loaded at 100 mtrs
