You still watch movies and pro sports, no? Those industries are full of the most vile, despicable, people on the planet who treat women like garbage and second class citizens. Heck, just a few days ago, video surfaced of Ezekial Elliot in a physical confrontation with his "girlfriend", and he's been accused of much, much worse.
Is that a suspension threat for talking politics?

To be fair, voters had to choose between 2 candidates. I would argue that the other candidate had a worse track record of enabling with how she has handled accusations against her husband.
Google "Trump sexual misconduct accusation" and "Clinton sexual misconduct accusation" and make your own decision. I would argue that the "serial sexual predator" term would be more appropriately give to Clinton.

My point is, in a few days, weeks or months, the very same people throwing around the term enabler will start a Cowboys or other pro sports team thread or movie thread that involved people who treated women like garbage. The #metoo movement shone a light on an entire industry that's overlooked and encouraged sexual mistreatment of women. Hypocrisy.

I happen to think that there are too many people who fall in love with the idea of the world being good and beautiful as a weapon against living in reality and acknowledging the troubles they want to ignore that are standing right next to them.

For someone as rich and famous as he is, there are actually very few accusations against him - most were made during the campaign. Despite his "grabbing" comments (made in 2005) , after looking at the accusations against him (google), I couldn't find one where anyone accused him of "grabbing"
I'm not defending Trump, at best he is an unrepentant misogynist. I'm merely pointing out that there were only 2 real candidates to choose from and 60 million people voting for him does not necessarily indicate that they are endorsing his behavior or comments. I can tell you as one of the 60 million, that I get real sick and tired of being made to feel like I am an evil, sexist, racist person because of the way I voted. I know that is how a lot of liberals feel - which is why I like to point out their own hypocrisy.
I do give you full credit for acknowledging the Clinton's wrongs on this issue in this thread and I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of the Brile's hire.
