Ketch's 10 Thoughts From the Weekend (On Bru McCoy, Mount Vernon ISD and more ...)

I have not stopped to think about all the great country songs that could make the top ten list, but your list is much better than the Sirius list. IMO there are three songs in their top ten that belong there.

I'll take it!

Ivana has publicly disavowed that several times.
FYI, so has the mother of Tyreek Hill's children and countless other women who live in fear after being overpowered by men in countless ways.

What I do know is that under oath, when she thought she would be protected in telling the truth (while legally obligated to do so), she said what she said.

I’m ok with the Ketch’s top 10 country song list. Not sure Garth Brooks should be that high but I don’t find it that objectionable. He would make my top 20.

It needed to be said. I won't allow enablers to live in their pretend land enable island. Now go to the Corral or wherever you want, but you can leave this thread.

I don't have time today for the usual suspects.enablers. I'm kind of asking and kind of telling you.

If the only thing you took from that article was that line, it's revealing you for who you really are. I don't really care to discuss your cross to bear.
Did you vote for Bill Clinton, or the worlds biggest enabler, his wife?

You voted for an evil, sexist, racist human being. I'm sorry for the way it makes you feel, but you will not be allowed to hide from that shame. Our nation is run by a human being that has zero regard for the law or the truth or brown people or any kind of class. That's on you and those 60 million.

I know that reads as snarky, but there are consequences for actions. I simply won't allow people to seek shelter in pretend-land in an effort to rid themselves of the truths.

He may be, but I don't think you or I know that he is or isn't. Only he knows. Just because you saw a meme on twitter or facebook, doesn't mean it's true. The other candidate we know tried to quiet and discredit sexual abuse accusers. One is speculation, the other is fact.

We had connections to one of the women that was sexual assaulted, who absolutely had the goods that would have brought this whole thing down to the ground.

She lives in another state under a new identity.

When a recent arrest of a player was made within the last few years, she was found and threatened. She basically has gone back into hiding.

Yet, I know that the people at Pepper Hamilton spoke with her about her situation on multiple occasions. It was in the report that was never put on paper.
Briles: "Those are some bad dudes. What was she doing around those guys?"

Well I will take the higher road. We have a great country with free and fair elections. History tells us that when we start demonizing each other over our political views we are not far from that coming to an end.

I don't think Ivana lives in fear of anything.

I'm a grown-up now, not a teenager.

I can assure you that I'm not into misogynistic music as a decision-making adult.

And none of those rapers are lifted up to be the leaders of the free world by enablers that will apparently excuse any behavior, whether it's sexist, racist, spitefulness... you name it.

then they show up online and call other people hypocrites.

Was Trump convicted of rape?

Buncha Trump loving snowflakes in this thread. Whaaaaa! Ketch referenced our dear leader in a non-positive manner! Oh the tragedy!

In case any of you forgot what @Ketchum actually said, here's the quote:

"Tell her that the world talks a good game, but it might just grab her by the ..."

This was over the line? This was injecting politics?

The only thing I'll comment on is the Top 10 country list of all time. In no universe should Jason (run-for-my-life- without-warning-the-crowd) Aldean, Garth Brooths or Eric Church should be on ANY top ten country list of all time. Ray Charles? Seriously?

This thread reminds me of all discussions of race that take place on this site.

I'll get PMs from people daring me to show instances when a certain person has been racist and when you send them links to dozens of situations proving it, it's #fakenews or whatever.

We are not a world of good people. We are a deceitful bunch with historically awful ethos.

Yes, including the morally bankrupt Dems who paid for a phony dossier to start the whole fake Trump/Russian collusion narrative. 2 years later & $25 million later it was proven to little more than a Witch Hunt/Coup d'Etat to remove a sitting president from office duly elected by our democracy.
Moral bankruptcy has many components.

I was a kid when Clinton was elected into office.

Hillary wasn't my favorite option, but she was better than what is in place now and if you can't see that, then I suppose there's no place in the world for the truth, integrity, women's rights, brown people , etc... for you.

I can't help but laugh at someone else calling someone an enabler when they protect a man that averages more than 20 lies per day.

Alex Dunlap taking a shot at dairy farmers is not the way to garner support in a farming community.

What on Earth makes you think I’m taking a shot at dairy farmers? Dear Lord, the guy literally shows up to schools and events and shows people how to milk a cow. It’s the only online presence of him I can find outside of the school board. That’s a professional Milk Man, ie he works in the milk business. It’s the same, to me, as saying oil man, land man, football man, etc.

lulz. You're another that just needs to turn around and leave the thread. That's a request. Thank you.

The elephant in the room as it relates to the farmer discussion is that you are, in fact, a farmer yourself.

My grandpa was a farmer and rancher after he got out of the military. The idea of making fun of that community is so far out of my wheelhouse that it perplexes me. If he had worked as a milk man in the milk industry I would have even called him that.

@Ketchum please consider a political podcast. You would crush it.
oh boy. This thread has been all I could have asked for and more. I'm at my end of political discussion I can handle for the day and it's not 10am.

There's just an elephant in the room with this particular discussion and I couldn't ignore it, even if it would have been easier to do so, and would have made countless subscribers more comfortable.

I find it amusing that the same people that hate Briles for what he has done are the same people wanting men and women to use the same bathroom and allowing men to compete as women in sports. Then turn around and wonder what went wrong.

I think Briles is a POS. But you SJW are hypocrites.

Yes it’s all that simple and binary. I’m like Jason in saying you have no idea my views on those political issues and u may be surprised if I was the type to share them in public which I am not. I will say publicly that Briles and those who enable him are either bad people or good people making horrible decisions.

Who TF are you to tell me what I am or am not being? Your scorched earth take on this whole situation has you on tilt. I didn't defend the hire, I only pointed to a more appropriate comparison than the one you used in your post. Be much better

Except the only reason you did that was to make YOURSELF feel better. Again, it's not about helping to protect women at all. That was less important to you than not having to feel guilty about your vote.

This is kinda a microcosm of the entire issue. Women being assaulted, and the enabler gets hired? "Hold on now, what REALLY matters is that I shouldn't have to feel guilty because that other guys is worse!"

This should be embarrassing, but I sense it won't be.
